There are always going to be some guests at your wedding that will shy away from the camera, so unless your photographer is very, very sneaky there may not be evidence that they were actually there. An alternative: a photobooth! Even the most self-conscious person will get the opportunity to hide away in the booth, with their disguise at the ready, giving you the best opportunity to not just have a photo of everyone at your wedding, but most likely, you’ll capture the funniest versions of everyone at your wedding!
If you’re considering booking a Photobooth for your upcoming wedding, I don’t think there is a more dedicated operator than Brett from In The Booth on the Gold Coast.
Can you tell us a bit about the In The Booth family and how you came to join it?
I had been involved in the event hire industry for over ten years before a friend of ours introduced us to photo booths. The Gold Coast was in need of a new, energetic operator and In The Booth felt like I was the one to continue entertaining couples and reception guests on the Gold Coast and Tweed!
Where are you based and what areas do you service?
My wife Sam and I live with our two daughters in Mudgeeraba. I work from home and have the ability to hire photo booths from Beenleigh to Lismore.
Can you give us a run down on how to hire your photobooth and what options couples have with you?
We are lucky to have a central booking office so by calling 1300 026 684 or filling in the form on our website https://www.inthebooth.com.au/boothme you’ll get super fast information fro the national booking team.
Our booth packages are all inclusive and are designed to make sure you have every opportunity to have fun at your own wedding. Our prices only change with the time you have in the booth. Starting at $995 for 3 hours.
Why do you think a photobooth is such an important part of a couple’s big day?
Wedding receptions are up the top of the most memorable moments in a couple’s life. Allowing you and your guests to entertain themselves with laughter and love, a photobooth prints a physical memory to remind us of the celebrations of the day.
What advice do you have for couples when they are thinking about having a photobooth at their wedding?
All photobooths are not created equal. Do some research on the styles and offerings of each booth company. Choose the one that ticks the most boxes for you.
AND get some ‘alone time’ in the booth on your wedding day. Its hard to find time to spend a few peaceful, loving minutes together during the reception. You can sneak away to the booth for a little cuddle and photo that is super personal to you both!
What do you love most about hiring a Photobooth to couples for their Weddings?
Watching brides, mothers, friends and guests giggling whilst waiting for their booth prints to drop. Then the pointing and laughing as friends crowd around the print to admire the memories being created! So.Much.Fun!
Do you have a favourite photobooth photo? What is the story behind it?
When a couple crowd into the booth with their very best mates (usually the bridal party) and capture unbridled joy at the celebration of their union. Uposed, candid photos, with pure happiness on the faces. That is my winner!
What can couples expect when they visit In The Booth at the upcoming Gold Coast Fair?
A full of life booth operator willing to show brides how to make their reception the one friends and family will talk about for years to come!
