Does your ceremony booking look anything like mine? I’ve spent quite a few hours thinking about alternatives to ensure that we can still have a beautiful themed ceremony while adhering to the strict rules placed upon us.
- I absolutely love the idea of providing guests with old mason jars half filled with bubble solution and an old key to blow bubbles through. It’s such a simple idea, but the way that you put it together can provide an added element of “fairy tale” And a great D.I.Y. project for you and your bridal party!
- Another idea was to have wedding bells left on guests seats (as long as they wait until the “you may kiss the Bride” part of the ceremony to use them!) which would provide such a stunning sound to end the ceremony. And I believe the thought is that the ringing of wedding bells wishes the newly married couple well. Nawww!
- Or if you are keen to stick with the sentiment of confetti by throwing something at the happy couple as they walk back down the aisle, you could arrange cones of lavender or birdseed. It provides an eco-friendly option for those with an outdoor ceremony and you shouldn’t run into any troubles with your venue as they are either carried away with the wind or eaten by the birds!
